i just followed, cloning a win7 home premium, from a hdd to a ssd m2 2280...cloning process was very smooth... during boot up, win7 kept msg that repair must be done...so i did followed the repair...it died

I have recently inherited one of these Acer Aspire Easystore H340's and would like to do this mod. Am having trouble locating a 'low profile' graphics card with the right connection though. Can anybody help me to locate a card that would fit, perhaps some suggestions to alternatives to the one shown in the video that would work? TIA.

Just a fresh commenter here to thank you for this video. I cloned my M2 to a SATA but must've missed the boot partitions and only grabbed the data partition, but the rescue drive instructions were awesome and so far I was able to rebuild the windows boot stuff it needs to rebuild the image. Now I'm going to redo it correctly to copy from this build to my new build. Thanks again!

Thanks. I recently decided that it was time for me to actually pay for a new drive (instead of living off my brother's hand-me-downs), so I wanted to get my OS on an NVME drive. One question, though: I didn't do any of the partition size adjustments in Macrium Reflect; instead, after cloning, I used the Windows disk manager to extend the OS partition to get back all the unallocated space. Was that bad?

This is only one part of the story.. most people have a dynamic IP address everytime you restart the router, which means you cannot connect to your plex then.. I don’t understand why you implied that this is the only requirement..

Hey all, hemp needed! So I followed everything…and all the way to the end, moving OS from a 500GB ssd to a 2TB nvme… The process all went just as described almost to the end So once I had successfully cloned the ssd to the nvme, I rebooted and went into bios to get the nvme mbr to boot. This worked perfectly on this boot. Went in and double checked everything and the C drive was indeed the new 2TB nvme. All great! So then I did the last step and rebooted and switched the bios again to go into the recovery flash drive that I created earlier as guided. This booted fin and then I performed the “fix windows boot problems” and then finished that and got it to reboot and then it went wrong! Hit a boot error window…now no matter how many times I’m doing the “fix windows boot” and then reboot back to the nvme MBR, I get the same error! Which is odd as I say, it booted into the nvme as C perfectly at the first go! And then after the fix step, it now doesn’t! Please help!

What would happen if I retrieve my product key from my older laptop and use it on another laptop that I installed windows 10 but can’t activate it.would my older laptop product key work to activate windows 10 on the other laptop?

Same problem with installing wins 10 with an added new problem i cannot delete any of the partition either you override it or clean. I can't delete it period 😢

This is a well-done tutorial, but it did not work for me. Upon launching the Plex Server, their was no option to simply close it, and signing out signed me out of the application, rather than having an option to claim the server. All I got in the end was an error message "corrupted databases", and I had to point the server to the media folders one by one, just as if I had installed it from scratch. Learning: Don't follow old tech tutorials, find a recent one instead. D'OH! 😳

while watching your video i simply clicked on troubleshoot under the activation and it found a digital liscence key and activated my windows on its own! thank you for the help

Nice tutorial! I have a question though, if there is an existing hdd on that slot and I replaced sdd on it, will it read like sdd or still reads slow like hdd?
